I build things, think about systems, and write to keep my head clear.

I work at ihomer in the energy transition, where software meets infrastructure: EV charging, home energy management, and the messy reality of grids, standards, and organisations. These days my role is less hands-on and more about direction, trade-offs, and helping teams ship in a world that doesn't behave like a clean API.

Outside of work, I'm a dad. I read a lot. I train regularly (currently for a 1/8 triathlon). This site is where my writing lives — including everything I post on LinkedIn, plus the pieces that don't fit a feed.

Everything I publish on LinkedIn also lives here. If you want to respond, discuss, or push back, LinkedIn is the best place to do that. For direct contact, email works.
